Stockholm – Erbil with ZagrosJet

ZagrosJet, which is the first official Kurdish airline, is the third airline that flies to Erbil from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The other two are Germania and Small Planet Airlines. The Stockholm – Erbil route is  with an operated with an Airbus A321 with seating for 200 passengers.


ZagrosJet was formed in October 2005 by the Zagros Group and cooperates with the Turkish airline Atlasjet Airlines. On 2 October, the airline’s maiden flight from Erbil to Ankara in Turkey.

Skymark A380: Fewer seats – More space

Milwaukee to Trenton with Frontier

On June 14 Frontier Airlines will start flights from Milwaukee to Trenton, New Jersey. Trenton is beleived to be a good and strategic choice since the airport is located between Philadelphia and Newark, both major urban centers. The route will be operated Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, using an Airbus A319 aircraft.


New United Express routes from May 1

  • United Express twice-daily service between Denver and Santa Fe, New Mexico
  • United Express daily service between Los Angeles and Wichita, Kansas
  • United Express daily service between Washington-Dulles and Grand Rapids, Michigan

The flights will be operated by the 50-seat Embraer regional jet and the 66-seat Canadair CRJ-700 regional jet.


First Chinese airline with domestic Japanese routes

Chinese Spring Airlines enrols in aviation history by becoming the first Chinese airline that will operate on domestic Japanese routes. From June 27 this year, the airline will start with flights from Narita International Airport to Saga, Hiroshima and Takamatsu.

United Airlines first Boeing 787-9

Airline United Airlines has released a photograph of roll-out of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which must reach 787-8 fleet during the summer.

More Chinese airlines to the Gold Coast of Queensland?

Sichuan Airline flights from Chengdu in Southwest China to the Gold Coast of Queensland may be possible in the near future. Representatives from the Gold Coast council and China are currently in talks about possible future collaborations. From the Australian point of view, it is believed that this would be a boom like no other for the tourism industry in the region. Such a development would also thereby creating thousands of jobs in the aviation sector.
Gold Coast is a city on the Pacific coast in the southern part of Queensland, Australia. Gold Coast is among other things known for its sunny subtropical climate, beaches and tourist attractions. It is Queensland’s second largest city, after relatively nearby Brisbane.
