Lufthansa upgrades its fleet

The airline Lufthansa has announced an acceleration of the modernization of its fleet, which will receive 23 new aircraft in 2014.
On the 7th of February 2014 Lufthansa received its tenth Boeing 747-8i, which will be deployed between Frankfurt Airport and Seoul-Incheon at the end of the month.
Future deliveries includes: by the end of March, two other 747-8i joins the fleet and an Airbus A380, an A330-300 and two A320. Its subsidiary low cost Germanwings will use the new A-319, while 777F join Lufthansa Cargo. At the end of the year, 23 new ”ultramodern aircraft” will be in use in the fleet of the Lufthansa Group, its order book including seven 747-8i, three A380s and 39 A320s.
