United’s new routes with Embraer 175

HOUSTON, United Airlines has declared that it will launch service with the airline’s new Embraer 175 on flights between its Houston hub at George Bush Intercontinental and Atlanta and New Orleans starting June 15 and between Houston and Austin starting June 16. United also has informed E-175 service between Chicago O’Hare and Minneapolis beginning June 5, between Chicago and Atlanta beginning June 15, and between Chicago and LaGuardia beginning June 23.
The 76 seat Embraer 175 regional jet is the newest addition to the United Express fleet. The aircraft features 12 seats in United First – 16 seats in United Economy Plus and 48 seats in United Economy. United Express operator Mesa Airlines will operate the flights between Houston and Atlanta, Austin and New Orleans. United Express carrier SkyWest Airlines will do the flights between Chicago O’Hare and Atlanta, New York LaGuardia and Minneapolis.
